Allen McAffee makes coveted CE publication’s annual 40 Under 40 list
SAN DIEGO (June 21, 2017)
Robo 3D Limited (ASX: RBO) recently had Vice President of Engineering, Allen McAfee, make the Dealerscope 2017 40 Under 40 Honoree list—a renowned best practices consumer technology publication.
Those who make the annual list are recommended by their industry peers for distinguished job performance, visionary behavior and determined, years-long work ethic within their specific career discipline.
Finding inspiration inherent in the challenge
In the question/answer session conducted by Dealerscope, McAfee said much of his job fulfillment comes via robotics engineering within 3D printing. He also enjoys working tirelessly to overcome its challenges—specifically in regards to simplifying the user experience so it’s more consumer-friendly for the mass market, and ensuring 3D printing becomes an integral learning tool for classrooms across the world.
Randy Waynick, Robo Chief Operating Officer said of the win,
“Seeing Allen receive this acknowledgement from his peers for his leadership, perseverance and hard work, really emphasizes what an honor it is to have such a driven, talented, and passionate team here at Robo. This is a well-deserved recognition of Allen’s drive and accomplishments, and timely, especially as the fruits of the team’s labor, in the form of the Robo R2, starts to enter the market. Well done!”
