2017 international expansion continues with added distribution channels and new EU/Asia sales director
SAN DIEGO (June 01, 2017)
Robo 3D Limited (ASX: RBO) recently gave its 2017 growth plan additional momentum, as the US-based 3D printing market leader continues its international expansion with retail account victories across Canada and Europe, while staffing up to further support these efforts by hiring Tomasz Wykowski as International Sales Director for Europe and Asia.
Executive team grows in Europe
To support its robust international sales and distribution plan across Europe and Asia in parallel with the recent launch of Robo C2 and the forthcoming release of its flagship Robo R2 printer, late last month Robo took strategic and deliberate steps by adding Tomasz Wykowski—a sales, operations and business development veteran formerly of ZMorph — to its growing roster of talent.
“We’re excited to have Tomasz join our executive team,” said Randy Waynick, Chief Operating Officer at Robo. “His experience, skillset, insight and understanding will serve the markets well. And his overall commitment to further developing the 3D printing industry also positions him as a key voice for international markets as we continue to expand.”
Robo is actively pursuing new distributors and re-sellers, and select key partners, as we expand into leading international markets in Europe and Asia. If you are interested in working with Robo, please reach us at email@example.com
Sotec 3D partners with Robo in Europe
Robo has entered into a partnership with Sotec 3D. As one of the biggest 3D printer suppliers in EU and leading French distributor of 3D printers, filaments and accessories, Sotec 3D will be adding Robo products to all its sales channels in the upcoming weeks.
Commenting on the new partnership, International Sales Director Tomasz Wykowski said “We have been receiving a lot of interest for Robo in Europe from makers and distributors alike, so we’re excited to bring on such a highly-regarded partner to support our expansion. We’re looking forward to working with Sotec 3D in bringing our award-winning printers, Robo C2 and Robo R2 to France and all of Europe.”
Additionally, Robo will see increased expansion with new partnerships in Europe — specifically in Italy through 3D Print Store, and Turkey with 4B MÜHENDİSLİK.
Robo inks SYNNEX deal in Canada
The news is on the heels of Robo signing a deal with SYNNEX, a leading North American wholesale distributor of emerging technology and products for household names in the consumer electronics industry, greenlighting Robo to sell its award-winning Robo C2 and Robo R2 3D printers—plus, complementary products, filament and 3D project kits—to retailers including Best Buy, Staples, NCIX, The Source, and Scholars Choice.
These new sales partners have nearly 1,000 physical locations, a strong and growing online presence, and represent some of the most well-known and respected consumer electronics brands in Canada and across the world.
SYNNEXX also maintains distinct influence within the 3D printing industry, distributing printers that range from entry-level to high-performance and professional-grade, and is one of the largest wholesale distributors of 3D printers, filament and accessories in North America.

And as always—happy making!
