Robo Wins 1st Place in Education Product Shootout at CETPA Conference

The California Educational Technology Professionals Association (CETPA) conference concentrates on professional learning and providing resources to IT professionals working in the California education community. From November 14-17, 2017, thousands of educators and professionals attended this show looking for resources and solutions in order to implement technology into the classroom. We had the pleasure of being alongside our reselling partner, Troxell, in their booth at the show and had great success introducing the Robo C2 and Robo R2 3D printers to more California education professionals. The response was overwhelming and we are excited to get Robo products into more schools around the world!

This year, Braydon Moreno (Robo's Co-Founder) pitched the Robo R2 and Robo EDU solutions in the Technology Product Shootout. Others in competition included Makerbot, Ultimaker, Raise 3D, and New Matter. The audience was around 60 CTOs, Network Engineers, System Engineers and other IT Professionals looking to learn about and compare the latest and greatest in enterprise technology solutions.

Each presenter was given 10 minutes to pitch their products and EDU solution to the audience. Braydon spoke about Robo products, specifically the Robo R2 and all the functionality, ease of use, and benefits it has in education with onboard slicing and Chromebook compatibility. After all the presenters pitched from each company, the audience was polled to determine which solution would work best for them and Robo won 1st place! :)
