Education conferences showcase industry’s best and brightest, and further highlight key Robo partnerships that continue to solidify brand’s growing market impact
SAN DIEGO (June 21, 2017)
Robo 3D Limited (ASX: RBO) will display and demo its latest Robo C2 and Robo R2 smart 3D printers with Wi-Fi at two of the biggest education conventions this month — the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference & Exhibition in Chicago and International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) in San Antonio, Texas — further positioning the brand as the go-to 3D printing solution for classroom’s throughout the U.S. and across the world.
Attending both events is timely for Robo since each one aligns with its commitment to leveraging 3D printing in the classroom. It’s also an opportunity to show how easy its 3D printers connect and print from mobile devices — specifically Chromebooks and iPads, which make up the majority of the approved devices within education.
All combined, nearly 50,000 people are expected to converge on conference grounds for both events in the coming days.
Of note — and within the U.S. education sector alone — 3D printer sales for STEM and STEAM curricula combine for $8 billion-plus annually. On the immediate horizon, Robo is considering even more education-centric partnerships and education-focused product additions to address the booming market.
“The 3D printing upswing we’re seeing in the education sector isn’t just happenstance — it’s the cumulative result of viable and new technologies driving the initiative to make classroom’s more efficient, providing students and educator’s with a more hands-on on approach to learning, while demonstrating why the technology is important to teach now and in the future,” said Ryan Legudi, Managing Director at Robo. “Our company efforts — from product ideation and engineering phases down to each launch and long thereafter — align so well with this movement we’re seeing. And I’m both excited and humbled to say that we can’t wait to see how our products and services continue to inspire the minds and hearts of those looking to make a different and better tomorrow with everything they create.”
