Robo Partners with Promevo to Further Expand 3D Printing in the Educational Segment

New alliance rooted in Robo 3D printers’ ease of use with Google Chromebooks

SAN DIEGO (April 17, 2017) — Robo 3D Limited (ASX: RBO), a US-based 3D printing market leader and maker of one of the most highly-rated consumer 3D printers on the market, today announced its strategic partnership with Promevo — one of the largest, premier Google Apps and Chromebooks resellers in North America — to instantly elevate and optimize 3D printing for STEM- and STEAM-based curriculums in the classrooms across the U.S.
With more and more schools adopting the use of Chromebooks in the classroom as part of the 1:1 Computing Initiative — and Robo making the only 3D printers that allow users to print directly from a Chromebook — the new alliance gives educators and students alike a more seamless 3D printing experience where it counts most.

“We’re excited about this partnership with Promevo and the opportunity to grow the Robo product line in our nation’s classrooms — continuing on our strategic path of implementing high-quality 3D printing devices within the education sector,” said Randy Waynick, Chief Operating Officer at Robo. “When you think about the impact our products have in the classroom with their ease of use and rapid integration with popular teaching applications — paired with our exceptional 24/7 Customer Support — we’re right on the cusp of seeing significant benefits and advances in the learning process.”

Founded in 2001 and based in Burlington, Kentucky, Promevo also develops proprietary SAAS-based Google Apps products like gPanel, their flagship market-leading management and security product, and gScholar, a powerful, digital classroom platform.

In March, the company received the Google Cloud 2016 Americas Partner Award for Devices Ecosystem Success. The award recognizes Promevo for its demonstrated sales, marketing, technical and support excellence to help customers of all sizes transform their businesses and solve a wide range of challenges using the Google Cloud product suite.
