Robo Co-Founders Named to Exclusive Forbes Annual List

Braydon Moreno and Coby Kabili honored by business magazine with 30 Under 30: Class of 2017 induction

Robo3D Limited (ASX: RBO), a US-based 3D printing market leader and maker of the most highly-rated consumer 3D printers on the market, proudly announces that co-founders, Braydon Moreno and Coby Kabili, were recently named to the Forbes 30 Under 30: Class of 2017 in the Manufacturing & Industry category.

The 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 is the definitive compilation of today’s most promising change-makers and innovators in the US. The honorees were vetted by a panel of judges in their respective fields.

“We’re excited to be included on the annual Forbes list of young disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs — people who are dedicated to the constant renewal of manufacturing and industry,” said Moreno and Kabili in a joint statement. “So much of our success — and the recognition that comes with it — is really a testament to our friendship and history together as undergraduates at San Diego State University. More than an institution for learning, it was a tremendous opportunity to lay the foundation of what would eventually become Robo.”

Coby Kabili and Braydon Moreno

Moreno and Kabili started Robo 3D in December 2012 with a Kickstarter campaign for their initial 3D printer, Robo R1, bringing the vision of their product to life on a shared dining room table. After launching the printer in 2013 to wide acclaim, the company has experienced strong year-on-year growth and debuted on the Australian Securities Exchange in December 2016.

Robo was recently named a CES 2017 Best of Innovation Awards Honoree for its latest Robo R2 High-Performance Smart 3D Printer with Wi-Fi, powered by the new Robo app. Taiwanese EMS-giant Foxconn is Robo’s production partner for the new model which ships in early 2017.

“The positive momentum we’re experiencing as a company is undeniable right now — providing us a vote of confidence as we move boldly into this new year and well beyond,” said Ryan Legudi, Managing Director of Robo. “I look at this honor by Forbes for Braydon and Coby as a reflection of that confidence in that we have all of the right pieces in play, from the top down, to continue doing amazing things both internally and for the consumer.”
